The Council’s secret police who go about victimising lone women in the city centre for dropping fag ends are too sissy to tackle the drunks, tramps and teenagers who will take over this space. ”

I Yam What I Yam says..“ Oi Knowledgeable! Matta's does sell some fruit and veg but in the main it is 'exotics' peculiar to Indian, Chinese and West Indian cookery. They no longer sell mainstream veg, onions, spuds, carrots, etc., though perhaps they will again now.
Of course I can remember Matta's when they were on Granby Street. How 'knowledgeable' is that?”
