COME the end of October it’s going to be even easier to escape the dreary British weather and hit the heart of Spain when a new non-stop flight between Manchester and Madrid opens.
From October 30, the Spanish airline, Iberia, will launch a direct daily flight from Manchester Airport which will take just over two hours to reach the Spanish capital.
Flights will leave Manchester at 17.35pm and arrive at 20.55pm, just in time for a cold beer and spot of tapas.
In Madrid passengers coming from Manchester can make easy connections to 20 destinations including Valencia, Lisbon and further afield to Buenos Aires and Mexico City.
Business Class passengers can use special check-in facilities and VIP lounges. They can also enjoy a greater luggage allowance and an in-flight service with the best Spanish regional wines and other products as well as free magazines and newspapers.
Daily flights between Manchester and Madrid-Barajas begin on October 30 2011. Visit www.iberia.com/gb/.
