Scouse and Proud at Liverpool Malmaison

Celebrate 100 years of the Liver Building with a bargain Scouse dinner

Published on June 27th 2011.

Scouse and Proud at Liverpool Malmaison

THE hundredth birthday celebrations for the city's two favourite birds are stepping up. When the Liver Building passes its century mark, there'll be illuminated fish in the Mersey, giant lanterns at Pier Head, and at the Liverpool Malmaison, a birthday bargain on the dinner table.

The hotel is celebrating 100 years of the Liver Building with a Scouse and Proud lunch/dinner on 19 July priced at £19.11 for two. Keen-eyed people will notice that the price reflects the year that the Liver Building opened.

20070814SmalDivide this date in two and you get dinner at the Mal for a tiny £9.55. You'll be served a dish of the city's finest Scouse plus a bottle of Cains ale or a glass of Mal vino.

It's all the excuse you need for an evening in the seductive surroundings of the Mal. If anyone can make a plate of Scouse seem sexy, it's this place. Go along and see if they make it as good as your Gran does.

The Scouse and Proud offer is available on 19 July from midday to 2pm and from 6.30pm to 10pm.
