£6 Polo tickets for Chester Racecourse

For many, polo tournaments conjure images of Prince Harry on horseback watched by ladies with sunglasses bigger than their faces. It might have the image of an upper-class pursuit but with tickets going for just £6 at Chester Racecourse, it's far from elitist.

The Coutts International Tournament is the highlight of the polo season at Chester Racecourse, and is a good starting point if you want to experience the excitement of a high level polo tournament for the first time.

Taking place on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 June, it brings some of the UK's best names in the sport to Chester, plus a host of international players.

Polo is known as a fantastic spectator sport: fast and furious with a glamorous atmosphere off the pitch.

Take a picnic and have a family day out with the children (under 16s get in free). Or if you like the idea of becoming part of the polo set for a day, why not book a hospitality package in the exclusive Sponsors' and Players' Enclosure?

On Friday 3 June, there's a champagne reception and three-course lunch with wine in the enclosure for £75 +VAT per person. It's an extra special option for entertaining clients or an enjoyable afternoon out with friends.

On Saturday 4 June (Finals Day), the enclosure hosts a BBQ lunch for £35+VAT per person. It's described as 'exclusively informal' and looks like a grand way to spend an afternoon.

Two matches are played per day. Gates open at midday, the first match is at 2.30pm and the second match at 4pm.

Chester Racecourse is easy to get to from Manchester and Liverpool by train and it's a short walk from Chester station.

The Coutts International Tournament takes place on Friday 3 June and Saturday 4 June. Early booking is recommended. To buy £6 general admission tickets and hospitality packages from £35+VAT, please click here.
